Two-myotonic out-patients at Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Yonsei University College of Medicine, were evaluated using protocol that measured manual muscle test, muscle enzyme study, electrodiagnostic examination, muscle biopsy, genetic pedigree and comparison with other muscle diseases.
Importance of intensive and comprehensive rehabilitation care and follow up was discussed because of chronicity in management of myopathy by rehabilitation team composed of physiatrist, psychiatrist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, ADL therapist, psychologist, social worker, genetic coinsellor and vocational consellor.
